Mining and mineral processing engineers, who shall have distinguished themselves in the profession and shall have contributed significantly towards the development of the mining industry for a minimum period of three (3) years. Individuals who graduate with a master’s degree will be considered to have experience of two (2) year while those who graduate with PhD. will be considered to have experience of five (5) years. Members become professionals by paying a registration and subscription fee as shall be determined by the Council, producing a recommendation letter from a professional member of MESK, and achieving certain CPD points as shall be determined by the Executive Council.
