Persons who have engaged for at least six years in the sector or scientific or technical works, but do not qualify for admission as a mining or mineral processing engineer. This category also includes members of affiliate organizations such as the Kenya Chamber of Mines, the Geological Society of Kenya, and mining companies. To become an affiliate member, one has to pay a registration and subscription fee as shall be determined by the Council.
